Official Fee Schedule

At Am-Can Business & Tech Institute, we believe in complete financial transparency. Our Flat-Fee tuition model ensures that all basic administrative costs, including registration, Ontario Student Record (OSR) creation and maintenance, digital transcript generation, and standard online exam proctoring, are fully included in your base tuition.

1. Flat-Fee Tuition Structure (Per 1.0 Credit Course)

Students who choose our 100% Online, asynchronous delivery model receive an automatic 25% tuition reduction compared to our premium in-person baseline rates.

• Domestic Student (Ontario Resident):

  • In-Person Baseline: $550.00 CAD

  • 100% Online Delivery (25% Less): $412.50 CAD

• Visa Student (Residing in Canada on a Study Permit):

  • In-Person Baseline: $800.00 CAD

  • 100% Online Delivery (25% Less): $600.00 CAD

• International Student (Residing outside of Canada):

  • In-Person Baseline: $1,150.00 CAD

  • 100% Online Delivery (25% Less): $862.50 CAD

2. Multi-Course Enrollment Discount

Am-Can Business & Tech Institute supports students completing full academic pathways, such as Pre-Med, Engineering, or Business, with us.

• The 25% Multi-Course Discount: Students who enroll in more than one course simultaneously will receive an additional 25% discount on the tuition of their second (and any subsequent) courses.

• Example: A Domestic student enrolling in two 100% online courses will pay $412.50 for the first course, and only $309.38 for the second course.

3. Standard Allowable Administrative Fees (Non-Basic)

Because all basic administrative tasks are covered by your flat tuition, additional fees are only triggered if a student requires specialized, non-standard services or makes changes to their academic pathway after enrollment.

• Mature Student Assessment (MSA) Online Test: $69.00 CAD (Required only for adult learners over the age of 18 who do not possess a secondary school diploma or verifiable transcript equivalency to meet basic admission prerequisites).

• Course Transfer Fee: $100.00 CAD (Applied if a student requests to switch their enrollment to a different course, for example, from Physics to Chemistry, after the 48-hour cooling-off period).

• Course Extension Fee: $150.00 CAD (Grants a 3-month access extension for students who fail to complete their 110 instructional hours within the standard 12-month continuous intake window).

• Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) Challenge: $250.00 CAD (An assessment fee for students challenging a course for credit based on prior learning or experience outside of the traditional Ontario school system).

• Provincial Literacy Test (OSSLT) Hosting Fee: $150.00 CAD (Applied only if the student designates Am-Can as their primary school to physically host, invigilate, and process the mandatory provincial literacy test).

Tuition and Fee Disclaimer

Subject to Change: Am-Can Business & Tech Institute reserves the right to review and adjust tuition rates, administrative fees, and discount structures at any time without prior public notice.

Application to New Intakes: Any published changes to the fee schedule will take effect immediately and apply strictly to new student registrations, subsequent course enrollments, and newly generated intake cohorts.

Protection for Currently Enrolled Students: Fee changes will not retroactively affect currently enrolled students. If you have already registered, paid your tuition, and initiated your course access at www.techstudy.ca, your tuition rate for that specific course is locked in and will remain unchanged for the duration of your standard 12-month instructional window. If a currently enrolled student chooses to register for an additional course after a fee change has been implemented, the new tuition rate will apply to that new registration.
